Lifestat Ambulance Service Inc. is a small town rural ambulance service that has been providing advanced life support services to the residents in and around Saltsburg, Pennsylvania for more than twenty years. Lifestat currently operates six advanced life support ambulances, responding to over twenty five hundred calls last year.

Our calls consist primarily of:
• Emergencies , 911 Dispatched
• Transfers ,emergency and non emergency
• Medical coverage and support for race events,fire and weather emergency s
• Coverage for three school districts, providing advanced life support for sports events and major school functions.
• Responses to two major rivers and dams in conjunction with local volunteer fire department river rescue teams.

Lifestat provides advanced life support services to six rural municipalities, consisting of approximately fifteen thousand people. Our service area consists of approximately one hundred square miles with the closest commu nity hospital being over fifteen miles, and the closest level one trauma center at nearly thirty five miles.
